True Crime Readers January Event

This book, and the Netflix film (When They See Us) and the Amazon documentary (The Central Park Five) details a ghastly crime and the consequent imprisonments of five innocent men. Their verdicts were overturned, and today they are vocal examples of racism and the tragic misuse of confessional evidence by local authorities and the judicial system.
