Located on the Crow River, this park offers an uninterrupted expanse of peaceful wilderness. Crow-Hassan is home to deer, fox, coyotes, trumpeter swans, hawks and bald eagles.

We will hike approximately 6 miles at a medium pace(18-20 minute miles depending on trail conditions) over about 2 hours, through a variety of landscapes including wetlands, hardwood forest, oak savannah and rolling prairie. We will stop a few times to enjoy the scenery. Trails are of bare earth, sand, rock, turf, snow, packed snow and ice with some hills and low/wetland areas. We will be hiking wide multi-use trails, so we may pass some horses.
Based on expected trail conditions this time of year, grippers and/or hiking poles are recommended.

FACILITIES: There is a pit toilet at the trailhead and one along the trail.
This is a Three Rivers Park, so FREE Parking!

Sorry, no dogs, +1s or children allowed. Only Twin Cities Hiking Meetup members who agree to these expectations and the Meetup Community Guidelines will be welcome on the hike.

IMPORTANT: Please honor your RSVP and if your plans change, update your status to Not Going as soon as you are aware, even if you are on the Waitlist.
