We are a loving, and inclusive spiritual community, that is part of the New Thought movement. Our principles are based on the teachings of Jesus, other spiritual masters, and our own inner wisdom. We embody and honor the Universal Truths found in all religions and spiritual traditions, and are truly "Interspiritual." In Unity, we nurture and cultivate an experience of the Divine presence in our daily lives. And in so doing, we see it reflected in our world as love, joy, peace, wellbeing and abundance. This is living from the inside out!

This winter we will be exploring what it means to truly belong…how to stay connected to ourselves and others in a divided, lonely and polarized world. We will discover how true belonging doesn’t require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are.
Social scientist Brene Brown, PhD, has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives - experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame and empathy. In this book-study we will explore these topics and learn how to engage in compassionate dialogue with others in an age of extreme polarization.
Rev. Victoria will begin the exploration with a Sunday Talk Series starting February 1st, and the conversation will continue in a relaxed home environment facilitated by a variety of Unity Center of Peace members. You have several days and times to choose from.

Winter Qigong Community
Unity Center of Peace, 8800 Seawell School Rd, Chapel Hill, NC, USJoin us in an ancient practice of qigong, which emphasizes movement, breath, intention and meditation. For thousands of years, the practices have increased health, transformation, and spiritual growth. Working with nature and the seasons, we’ll harmonize the vital energy that flows through everything (Qi). Winter brings the most yin energy, an opportunity for inner alignment, nourishment, and wisdom. As we allow our inner river to flow with these seasonal energies, we connect with water, the element of Winter.

Dave has been practicing qigong and tai chi for over 40 years. Since 2009 he has been committed to learning qigong from different masters around the world. He currently has been leading a neighborhood qigong group since covid 19.Jessica is a somatic psychotherapistan and Associate Yoqi Insructor who teaches sacred somatics and yin forms of healing. She is grateful to the wisdom lineages and teachers who have supported her own healing and transformation. Her intention is to be a vessel for that same healing energy to benefit all beings.
