This ceremony is derived from an ancient teaching where individuals select a "new name" as a way to see freshly that which lies ahead for them. The name is written on a white stone and indicates freedom from the past.

Here at Unity, through meditation you will receive a guiding word from Spirit that will serve you throughout 2026 in making decisions, accomplishing goals and even realizing more of your Divine Self. Write it on the white stone you'll be given and keep it with you as a reminder throughout the year.
