Week 4: Silent Walk (Shinrin-yoku Inspired)

This session is different.

No book.No documentary.No dialogue.

In Week 4, we leave the room and step into a quiet park.

We will walk together in silence for 30 minutes, inspired by the Japanese practice known as Shinrin-yoku — being present in nature without trying to meditate, analyze, or reach any outcome.

There will be:

  • No guidance during the walk

  • No writing

  • No sharing

  • No interpretation

Attention will rest naturally on the senses:what is seen, heard, smelled, and felt — without effort.

After the walk, we will sit briefly in silence.Something may arise. Nothing may arise. Both are welcome.

This session closes Cycle 1: Self-Awareness— noticing before explaining.

Important notes:

  • Comfortable walking shoes recommended

  • Phones must be switched off

  • This is a quiet, non-social experience

  • Limited spots to preserve depth and calm

  • Bring a chair or a yoga mat for the brief silent sitting after the walk

Unsaid continues.
In the pause.
