Photo Walk: Brevard Lumberyard Arts District to Main Street
Details
After what is proving to be a very wet "peak fall colors" week, it looks like Mother Nature will cooperate for the coming weekend!
It's been a while since we wandered around Brevard (NC), so it's time to get re-acquainted.
We'll start in the trendy Brevard Lumberyard Arts District, and work our way towards Main Street, finishing up at Brevard Brewing (about an eight-minute walk from the starting point).
If we're lucky, we'll still have some fall colors in town, and we may even spot a white squirrel or two!
We will have a theme for the event that will be announced closer to the date, or at the event itself.
As always, this event is open to all skill levels and camera types.
MEETING PLACE: Please note that we are meeting across the street from the 185 King Street venue, in the courtyard near to Griffon & Sphynx Taproom & Brewery.
"After Party": For the music and beer enthusiasts in the group, there is an Open Electric Jam at 185 King Street beginning at 5pm, so you're welcome to hang around afterwards for some live music and fine craft beer or cocktails (Noblebrau Brewing is based at 185 King Street). Food is also available at the venue. Website: https://185kingstreet.com/
Post-photo walk Option: For the nature lovers and leaf peepers in the group, you may still be able to find some fall colors in the lower elevations heading up Rt 276 to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Finishing up the photo walk around 4pm, you'll still have some daylight to explore!
