Unholy Heroes @ The GRAPA / Guided Visit & Collage Workshop / SEE & MAKE ART!
The GRAPA Gallery, Calle Puerto Rico 40, Valencia, ES# GRAPA: Gallery for Rebel Artists & Political Art
Join @alexeytimbul for a guided visit to GRAPA's current exhibition followed by a hands-on collage workshop!
Unholy Heroes by Gian Andrea di Stefano
Meet Gian Andrea both as the photographer and an artist
INFO: This is a powerful exploration of the human body as a political and contested space. (Y)our body is not a temple. It is a surface where the world leaves its marks. Unholy Heroes challenges the ideals imposed on the body — questioning beauty, identity, and normativity through images that feel both intimate and unsettling. Through layered photographic compositions, bodies become fragmented, symbolic, and deeply human — suspended between beauty and imperfection, strength and vulnerability.MAKE ART! Collage Workshop
After the gallery viewing, we will engage in socially proactive art-making with a collage workshop by Alexey. It will provide us with an opportunity to reflect on our own role within the interconnected systems of oppression/liberation and consider the potential of individual and collective (art) action as a force for change. All materials will be provided. The guided visit & workshop are FREE. Participants will be asked for a small voluntary donation to offset the workshop costs, but the point is to appreciate in good company!
The exhibition is open through May 22 at Calle Puerto Rico 40 in Ruzafa.
