In that quiet period between Boxing Day and New Year's, for those of you in Edinburgh, feel free to join us for a trip to the cinema at the lovely restored Filmhouse for a modern Christmas classic, Home Alone (1990).

Tickets are half the usual price at £6 and in Screen 1, so there are plenty of seats available. We have booked seats F1 and F2 so far, feel free to join on that row, just in front or behind.

There is a lovely bar/cafe at the cinema we can gather at afterwards.

The event is family friendly and as a vegan group we ask if you eat with us afterwards please eat vegan - but all are welcome!

You don't have to be vegan to join us, but please know the pub is entirely vegan so all your orders will be too!

Are you taking part in Veganuary this year, or do you know someone who is? We are running a weekly meetup in January to support and encourage new vegans.

We will meet at a different vegan-friendly cafe* each Sunday in January. Enjoy a drink and some food and discuss your experiences, get advice for things you're finding challenging, share tips and inspire each other! You can sign up for just one event, or multiple - check the Vegan Edinburgh page to see them all.

Whilst this series of events is aimed at new vegans, long-standing vegans are also welcome especially if you are bringing a newly-vegan friend. Please keep your RSVP up to date so we can make sure all seats are full!

*Most venues will be fully vegan but not all, and there may be changes to the planned venues if a booking is not available. Regardless of the venue, we ask that you only consume vegan food/drink at this event.
