See all- Sit & Share: Let’s Chat About Shifting Your Relationship With MoneyCarlson Park, Culver City , CA
Let’s gather in the park for an afternoon of connection, curiosity, and honest conversation.
This month’s Sit & Share is about leaning into financial alignment and how we can shift our relationship with money.
We’ll weave together a grounding exercise, meaningful conversation, shared reflection – and a touch of fun – in a relaxed, supportive space. No pressure. No small talk. Just the joy of sitting together, asking the questions, and seeing what unfolds.
What to Expect
We’ll begin with a brief grounding exercise, then explore thought-provoking prompts and short exercises in rotating small-group conversations. We'll have about four prompts, each about 15 minutes long.
Prompts may include:
- Your current feelings and relationship toward money (i.e., joy, dread, avoidance, abundance, scarcity)
- Journaling and exercises that can help you glean insights about your money story.
- What you'd like to change and carry forward
You’ll get to connect with several different groups throughout the afternoon, then gather as one circle to share insights and close together.

- Meditation & Discussion: The Power of Love, Kindness, and CompassionSilver Lake grassy patch, Los Angeles, CA
Cultivating more love, kindness, and compassion for ourselves and others can be extraordinarily powerful. Curious how this works? Come sit with us and find out!
This event is based on Tristan's personal mastery approach, where we learn to make friends with our mind to cultivate personal growth and inner peace. We explore the intersections of Buddhism, Stoicism, modern Psychology, and other approaches towards this goal.
Our practices generally include some of the following:
- Meditation
- Mindfulness
- Metta (Loving-kindness)
- Breathwork
- Sound bath
- Journaling
No experience with these practices is necessary. Beginners are welcome! Even those of us who have been practicing for years are still learning, and we have so much to learn from each other. As they say in Zen, we must maintain a "beginners mind."
Our discussions are open to a variety of spiritual and scientific approaches to wellbeing, contentment, and enlightenment. We want to hear your ideas, but there's no pressure to speak in the group. If you prefer to just sit and listen, that's great!
Whether you are seeking to find inner peace, or simply a space to connect with like-minded individuals, we invite you to join us on this journey.
Cost: There is no cost to attend, but donations are appreciated through Venmo @Tristan-Blaine. Please do not feel any pressure to donate if you are unable. Your presence is enough!
