Perth's Iconic Footbridges

A late afternoon/early evening walk around the river, crossing via the two footbridges: Matagarup and Boorloo.
The pace will be slow to moderate and the route is flat to gently undulating; total length of circuit is 6km.
We start at the IGA supermarket East Perth. There's usually plenty of parking around the Royal St shops, or in CPP carpark at Regal Place 81-95 Regal Place, East Perth.
We'll walk along Royal St and then through Victoria Gardens onto the path along the river.
We cross Matagaraup Bridge and follow the path by the south bank of the river heading towards Crown Casino. After going under the Causeway we traverse Boorloo Bridge and head back to our starting point via the path on the north bank that runs past Trinity College.
After the walk, those interested can stop at the either The Royal on the Waterfront or The Partisan on Claisebrook Cove for refreshments and a chat.
