A mildly challenging walk through the National Park alongside Piesse Brook. We take a wide gravel road (no vehicles and a few hills) until we reach Rocky Pool. This is a beautiful valley, with granite outcrops, abundant seasonal wildflowers & thick vegetation.
Please wear good walking shoes as the road is slippery with pea gravel in some sections going up/down steep hills. Walking poles may be helpful if you have them.
NOTE: drive in along the gravel road about 500m until you see a white boom gate and can't drive any further, then park on the RHS.
Please arrive about 5 minutes beforehand, as we leave on time.
Dogs are not allowed in the national park.
WARNING: If your vehicle has low ground clearance it would be wise to arrive 15 minutes early and park at the first parking area soon after leaving sealed bitumen road which is located about

(This is because of deep potholes further along the track)
Then walk to the main parking area in front of the gate.
