๐ Schedule & Meeting
- 7:00 AM โ Meet at Green Lake P&R (NE 65th St & I-5, Seattle)
- 7:10 AM โ Depart promptly
- 8:00 AM โ Quick stop at Mt. Vernon Safeway (315 E College Way, Mount Vernon, WA 98273)
- ~8:45 AM โ Arrive at Chuckanut Drive trailhead
- 9:00 AM โ Begin hiking
- ~2:30 PM โ Return to trailhead (~5 hr hike + breaks)
- ~4:00 PM โ Estimated return to Green Lake P&R (later if we stop for early dinner)
โ ๏ธ Logistics
- Parking is limited. The trailhead is on the shoulder of Chuckanut Drive with minimal space. Carpooling is essential.
๐ Gear Notes
- Hiking poles are recommended for the steep, sustained climb and rocky sections.
- Sturdy hiking boots
- Standard day hike essentials: Water (2-3 liters), lunch/snacks, extra insulating layers, rain gear (1% chance of Drizzle).
