Hi Chiccies,

The time has come for me to hang up my coat as we say farewell to this meetup group I've been organising since 2019 (apart from the 2 years of covid, and the months I was in Paris and the lovely ladies who helped look after the group), I think the time has come to say au revoir.

For our last lunch in February, I've chosen Babylon restaurant in the city, making it easy for everyone to get to.

Modern Middle Eastern cuisine at a sprawling restaurant and rooftop bar. Babylon’s menu is designed to share, with an abundant, seemingly endless dishes of meze which sit alongside rich and colourful plates inspired by flora, fauna and the ocean. Many of the dishes are cooked over wood fire and charcoal on Babylon’s custom-built three metre-long bbq and rotisserie.

Enjoy a 3-course shared menu paired with a 2-hour bottomless beverage package for $95pp.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
2 hours of bottomless drinks. Choose from wine, beer, and prosecco, with the option to upgrade to cocktails. Perfectly matched with a 3-course Middle Eastern feast to share.

Bookings are for the restaurant inside. As usual I have given my credit card number as guarantee and if anyone noshos, or cancels inside 24 hours, my card will be charged $50. So I have decided for this month's lunch, if you wish to come along, please 1) transfer $50 to my bank account and then 2) put your name down as going 3) let me know. On the day please bring with you cash $45 to pay the difference + $5 booking fee. For those who do not have my bank details please contact me via meetup messages or text me on 0400883641 and I'll give it to you.

Since this is the last lunch this group will be having, I have booked a table for 30 people. It would be terrific to see some of the old faces come along, Harriet, Jenni, Sarah, Zena, Athena, Gail, Isabel, Lili, Terri, Shelley, Yvette, Mary C and Mary P to name a few.
