Great Gaddesden to Potten End Circular Walk

Second time out for this new walk, as we really enjoyed it last time. Some parts we’d never seen before!

Park in the top car park (not main one) at Hemel Hempstead Garden Centre in Great Gaddesden. HP1 3BY. We leave @ 10:30 Please ensure you are ready to leave 10 mins before the departure time 🚙

Leaving the car park we pass through the church yard 🪦 and steadily climb up to St. Margarets, where we’ll see the Buddhist centre 🪷 and follow little Nettleden tracks down to the Alford Arms at Frithsden. We then steadily climb a long bridle path 🐴 through Brown's Spring to the green at Potten End. At this point we’ll have a short stop at Martin’s Pond 🐸
After this we return via some fantastic tree lined trails up to Highpark Wood 🌲 Some great views here that will take us back down to our starting point. We’ll visit the Nursery Cafe after for coffee and cake ☕️ 🍰

Approximately 5.5 miles with a number of little ups and downs. Roughly 2.5-3 hours.
