What we’re about
WSTM is a passionate theater group that meets monthly to delve into the vibrant live theater scene of the Chicago Western Suburbs. Our primary goal is to watch the shows that you're most excited about and immerse ourselves in an enjoyable experience while forging new friendships.
Whether you're a first-time attendee or a seasoned theater enthusiast, you'll find a warm welcome among us.
Theater is a deeply personal encounter, and what captivates one person might not resonate with another. That's why we invite a few of our members to gather for a post-play discussion over drinks, sharing our diverse experiences and perspectives.
If you're involved in a stage production or have a recommendation for a performance that our West Suburban Theatre Meetup participants would appreciate, please feel free to message me with the details. We're always open to exploring new theatrical endeavors!

Farewell, Mr. Poe
In the last four days of his life, Edgar Allan Poe drifted in and out of consciousness before he died. Where did his mind wander in those final hours? Perhaps through a dark forest, confronting the ghosts of his past? Find out for yourself if you dare, as the paths wind through Poe’s life and poetry, until he finally confronts his earthly departure.Presented by The Morton Arboretum at The Morton Arboretum, Lisle IL

From songwriters Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, the genius duo behind ALADDIN, THE LITTLE MERMAID and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, comes the doo-wop R&B sensation LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.Join us on Skid Row as meek and mild Seymour Krelborn eeks out a living at the failing Mushnik’s Flower Shop. Until one day, he discovers a strange and unusual plant he names Audrey II – one that feeds on human blood. Seymour becomes caught up in a wild scheme of trying to acquire fresh blood for his carnivorous plant – all while attempting to save the love of his life from her evil dentist boyfriend.
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is a wild ride filled with some of the catchiest songs including “Suddenly Seymour” and “Suppertime.” But remember…Don't feed the plants!***
