Saturday Hike at White Tanks - Easy Intermediate

Happy New Year Everyone!

Please note: I am trying to be more specific with regard to difficulty of hikes going forward so people can avoid hikes that are either too hard or too easy. I am doing an easy one this weekend. I plan to do a more advanced one the following weekend.

This week: Ford Canyon Easy / intermediate. Suitable for anyone that can walk 4 miles with minimal breaks. Elevation gain is minimal. Well behaved dogs are OK for this one. It is out and back so if anyone gets too far behind, we will meet them on the way back.

Meet at the trailhead at 8:30am or meet in the library parking lot at 8am to carpool into the park. I will be in a silver Kia Carnival and will try to be in one of the first parking spaces as you enter the lot.

Location: 20304 West White Tank Mountain Road, Waddell, AZ 85355

Directions to trailhead: Main park road to Ford Canyon Road, Turn left and continue to parking area 9. There are restrooms there.
