Quarry Wood Dawn Chorus

Join Andrew Padmore for a 'wake-up' call in Quarry Woods on May 18th at 4:30am, when Andrew will introduce us to the chorus of birds as they join the early morning throng. We will meet on the edge of the woodland in Grubwood Lane using the various parking areas on the woodland edge. (SU865855). We will be right outside houses so please, no slamming of car doors or conversations while parking.
The walk will last approximately 2 hours and it will be good to bring your binoculars and, if you have it on your phone, the Merlin App for you to practice with. As we do not charge a membership fee, donations would be gratefully received, (we usually suggest c£3) either by cash on the day or by bank transfer to Wild Cookham Co-op Bank, 08-92-99, a/c 67226924 using 'Quarry Wood' for the reference.
