Swinley Forest Plus Off-roader 26 m

It's Saturday and it's sunny so what better to lift the spirits than this 26 mile off-roader through forest trials of wildest Berkshire. We meet at Martins Heron station at 10am in good time for the train arriving from London at 9.47 so do check the relevant time table before you go. From the station we cycle to Swinley Forest cycle park to experience some of its fun off-road trails. We leave Swinley and head towards Arborfield where we stop for lunch after 13 miles at the Bull Inn, a traditional country pub with an excellent selection of food and a beer garden. After lunch we head back along various country trails to Swinley Forest and to the ride finish at Martins Heron Station at around 4pm. This ride is mostly off-road so a bike with off-road capability will be needed. I have avoided some of the more difficult trails at Swinley so this ride will be achievable to all coming along. Please take plenty of water with you at it may be in the high 20's on the day.
