What’s on the Wing?
We have an awesome program planned!
Presentation: Urban Green Space Conservation Through Bird Banding
We are thrilled to welcome Amber BurNette as our guest speaker. Since relocating to Central Texas three years ago, Amber has been deeply involved in local avian research, including an exciting Purple Martin banding project. When she isn't working for the City of Georgetown, she is out in the field contributing to vital citizen science. She will be sharing her expertise on how bird banding serves as a powerful tool for protecting our urban green spaces.
Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just spreading your wings, this is the perfect chance to connect, learn, and celebrate our feathered friends. Bring your enthusiasm, your questions, and perhaps a friend ready to join the flock!
We can’t wait to see you there!
