What we’re about
Welcome to our Women’s Book Club!
This September 2025 is our 7 Year Anniversary!!! Come Join Us!
We have monthly meetings where a hostess chooses the book and restaurant. We meet, eat, drink and discuss that month’s read. No need to skip the meeting if you didn’t finish reading the book or even if you didn’t like the book. Everyone’s opinion is very welcome! Our goal is to enjoy a couple of hours of social time centered around a common read and make new friends. We all want that beneficial Woman to Woman Connection at this time in our lives!
How to Host? Contact us with your book of choice. We stay around 350 pages in length. If you have a book you absolutely love that is longer, we will surely love to read that too! Tell us your restaurant of choice. We really need a location where we have some isolation to discuss our book. If you want to make it a “book theme” meeting, you can add decorations or trinkets that enhance the book’s subject. Don’t spend too much of your money on this, please. We don’t read these subjects: Horror, Political or Religious books.
You should not pay any fee to the app to join our book club or to tell us you are attending a meeting.
There is a $45 monthly fee charged to host our club on this app. If you would like, you can donate a small amount to help Susan offset the costs to keep our club running.
Note From Susan Bright: Thank you to all the Wise and Wonderful women who make this club so much fun. I look forward to it and seeing each of you every month. Susan started this gem of a book club.
Note From Tiffany: This is such a fun group of wonderful women. Reading books that I would not pick for myself has been great to get me out of my usual reading subjects. Tiffany Talley is a co-organizer/helper.

See all- Dragon Teeth by Michael CrichtonNeeds location
Michael Crichton, the number one New York Times best-selling author of Jurassic Park, returns to the world of palaeontology in this recently discovered novel - a thrilling adventure set in the Wild West during the golden age of fossil hunting.
The year is 1876. Warring Indian tribes still populate America's western territories, even as lawless gold-rush towns begin to mark the landscape. Against this backdrop two palaeontologists pillage the Wild West for dinosaur fossils while deceiving and sabotaging each other in a rivalry that will come to be known as the Bone Wars.
Into this treacherous territory plunges William Johnson, a Yale student with more privilege than sense. Determined to win a bet against his archrival, William has joined world-renowned palaeontologist Othniel Charles Marsh on his latest expedition. But Marsh becomes convinced that William is spying for his nemesis, Edwin Drinker Cope, and abandons him in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a locus of crime and vice.
Soon William joins forces with Cope and stumbles upon a discovery of historic proportions. The struggle to protect this extraordinary treasure, however, will test William's newfound resilience and pit him against some of the West's most dangerous and notorious characters....
