Looking to attend a local theatre production at Coniston.

We will have drinks and dinner at the Coniston Pub first and then theatre commences at 7:30pm and concludes at 10pm. Tickets are $30 and can be booked at the following website:

The plot is described as .....

The Masked Bard explores the use of masks in Shakespearean theatre, where masking has been integral since the earliest performances.
The Masked Bard focuses on the Mechanicals from A Midsummer Night's Dream, following them from casting through rehearsal to the performance of their hilariously chaotic play, reimagined as a mask work. Along the way, the journey weaves through key Shakespearean moments, including the Player's speech from Hamlet, the post-masked-ball scene from Romeo and Juliet, and The Witches of Macbeth, with selected speeches and sonnets interspersed throughout.
The Masked Bard is co-directed by Steen and Zachary Hanlon, with masks designed by Steen.
