Book Trip: Bakery, Burmese, & A World Famous Bookstore in your own backyard
Details
Celebrate International Women’s Day March 8th with a fun day trip to Ojai with your fellow book~lovers! Spring is in bloom (almost) and so too is the desire to fly on the breeze to pastry and tea and to explore an outdoor world of books to see! Join us to visit a bakery & Burmese restaurant in Ojai that was just featured in the Feb 4th NY Times food section. Then we’re off to Bart’s Books, an outdoor bookstore in our very own backyard (well, not literally, but you get the idea) that actually is famous, if being featured in Afar and Sunset magazines and others is any measure.
Pairs well with The Lion Women of Tehran! Please join us even if you haven’t yet read the book.
Book selection:
The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali (I had to reschedule this book due to February babysitter availability for Valentine’s weekend :)

I couldn’t add the locations in the meetup app because it wouldn’t let me but here they are for your research. One book club member recently visited Bart’s & loved it.
