Virtual meetups on making WordPress websites accessible with live captions. This meetup has been officially approved for Continuing Accessibility Education Credits for maintaining Website Accessibility Specialist (WAS) and Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
About Us & Our Events
We're a global group of WordPress developers, designers, and users interested in building more accessible websites. Join us for meetups on a variety of topics related to making WordPress websites that can be used by people of all abilities. Meetups are held on the first Thursday of the month at 8 AM U.S. pacific time.
All meetups are held virtually via Zoom so you can join from anywhere and are live captioned. Some have American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation if sponsors can be found. We encourage speakers to verbally describe imagery for people who cannot see the presentation.
