👀 Let's Explore WordPress 7.1

At our next WordPress Sunshine Coast Meetup, we're going to dig into the latest release WordPress 7.1, which is due for release on August 19, 2026.

The 7.1 release has some major new features and lots of little quality of life features including improvements with the editor, responsive styling, admin interface and even a couple of brand new blocks.

Some of what we'll cover:

• Responsive styling changes
• Pseudo state improvments
• Admin toolbar improvements
• New blocks - Tabs & Playlist
• Image handling improvements

We'll explore what's new together, and learn how and where these new features can fit into your WordPress workflow.
