This trail is along the old original road that ran from Ridgecrest to Old Fort before I-40. It's now closed to traffic, but it is still paved. It offers some great views along the way, with the best being at the Point Lookout, which is the turn-around point. It's a steady but gradual uphill grade to the turn-around point, then downhill back.
