We will meet in Las Palmas in the main bus station (San Telmo estación de guaguas), on platform 18, to take the Global bus 229 to Teror leaving at 9:30am, arriving at the bus stop San José del Álamo at 9:59am. There are frequent buses from all parts of Las Palmas to San Telmo estación de Guaguas.

Buses back to Las Palmas (San Telmo) from Santa Brígida are every half hour.

This is NOT a circular hike than can be done easily by car.

If you want to use the GPS track for the hike provided above, you just need to install a GPS app on any smartphone. Among the best GPS apps to use in Gran Canaria (i.e. that come with some useful maps for our island) are https://www.locusmap.eu/download/ and https://www.twonav.com/en/downloads.

This event is free. It will be limited to 15 participants to keep the group more convivial and easier to manage. RSVPs on the waiting list only will open at 6pm on Thursday, and 14 people will be picked at random to participate in the event, from all the people who have RSVPed between 6pm and 10pm on that day, if there are more than 14. Only one "+1" RSVP (maximum) will be picked. If more spots become available later, then they will be attributed to people still in the waiting list, in the order of that list.

Pack a picnic lunch and at least one litre of water.

This event will be postponed or cancelled if there is a risk of significant rain.

In order to participate you must have a name on your profile with contains at least your first name in clear. Whether you already have a place or are still in the waiting list, if you later change your mind about coming, then it is very important that you change your RSVP, so another member can participate instead and you don't receive a "no show" mark for this event.

Quedamos en Las Palmas en la estación de guaguas de San Telmo. Cogeremos la guagua de la línea 229 con destino Teror saliendo a las 09:30 (andén 18), llegando en la parada de guagua San José del Álamo a las 09:59.

Salen guaguas para volver a Las Palmas (San Telmo) desde Santa Brígida cada media hora.

Esta NO es una ruta circular que se pueda realizar fácilmente viajando de coche.

Si quieres usar el track GPS disponibilizado mas arriba, solo tienes que instalar cualquier app de GPS en tu móvil. Entre las mejores apps de GPS para la isla de Gran Canaria (que ofrecen mapas de senderismo para nuestra isla) destacan https://www.locusmap.eu/download/ y https://www.twonav.com/en/downloads.

Esta salida es gratuita. Estará limitada a 15 participantes para mantener un ambiente mas amigable y hacer el grupo mas fácil de manejar. Se abren las inscripciones a las 18:00 el Jueves, y 14 personas serán elegidas al azar para participar en el evento, entre todas las que se habrán inscrito entre 18:00 y 22:00 en ese día, si hay más que 14. Solo uno "+1" (cómo máximo) será elegido. Si hay cancelaciones y plazas quedan disponibles más tarde, serán atribuidas a las personas en la lista de espera, en la orden de esa lista.

Traer picnic y al menos un litro de agua.

Esta salida sera re-programada o cancelada en caso de riesgo de lluvia significativa.

Para participar en la salida se requiere un perfil Meetup con al menos tu nombre escrito de forma clara. Si cambias de idea después, es muy importante darte de baja para que otro miembro pueda tomar tu lugar y para no recibir una marca de "no asistencia" en este evento. Esto es importante tanto si estás apuntado en la excursión y decides no ir, como si estás en lista de espera.
