Coffee Hike: Sip the world's best coffee in the nature
Detalles
Hey there, good people around San Sebastian! Come join me for a chill day of hiking, great coffee, and friendly conversations. We'll meet up at the spot called "Ulia Mendiko aparkalekua" and take a short 2 km stroll through Ulia mountain.
When we get to our spot, I'll show you how to brew some seriously awesome coffee using top-notch beans (if don't know what that is there is link below) from different corners of the world. It's a chance to sip on fancy coffee while soaking up the natural beauty around us.
And guess what? We'll also get to know each other better and have easygoing chats in English or Spanish for about 30 minutes. No pressure, just good vibes. See you there!
What are top-notch beans and specialty coffee?
In short, it's coffee but luxury premium coffee, that tastes completely different (in a good way) than regular mass-produced coffee. To get a more specific details click here
Why should you attend?
Coffee is like breakfast; most people enjoy it daily. So, why not start your mornings with the best coffee? Unlike wine, where the price gap between good and bad can be steep, achieving great coffee is affordable with some knowledge and a good foundation. At this event, I'll provide you with all the information you need to brew exceptional coffee. Plus, we'll savor the world's finest coffee together.
What type of coffee will we be enjoying?
We will be serving black coffee, which means no sugar or milk. You might be thinking, 'I usually drink lattes, or I've never enjoyed black coffee before.' But don't fret. I've been organizing this event for the past two years and have encountered many people with similar preferences. After trying it, most of them ended up loving it, and many even changed their coffee preferences.
Who is the host?
During my university years, I worked as a barista, and it became a passion of mine to introduce people to specialty coffee and make new friends in the process. I've been hosting coffee events for three years and, now that I've moved to San Sebastian, I'm excited to continue them here. I haven't learned Spanish yet, but I hope there will be English speakers. If you only speak Spanish, that's perfectly fine; my colleague will be available to help with translations.
What do you need to bring?
- Your favorite coffee mug (Any cup is fine, but the best choice is a ceramic one)
- Dress appropriately for the weather
- Something to sit on (optional)
