November Meetup

This meetup is being co-organized by Club Coworking (https://eltaller.club/) and Tarragona Developers Meetup. It will take place at Castell del Paborde (La Selva del Camp: https://goo.gl/maps/VwP8Bpu34KH2).

The agenda is as follows:

• httpoxy: A web application vulnerability (Jordi Massaguer Pla, from Club Coworking). httpoxy (https://httpoxy.org/) is a vulnerability in PHP and CGI web applications that allows remote attackers to proxy requests.

• Infrastructure as code with Terraform (Adrian Moreno, from Dell EMC). Terraform (https://www.terraform.io/) enables you to safely and predictably create, change, and improve production infrastructure. It is an open source tool that codifies APIs into declarative configuration files that can be shared amongst team members, treated as code, edited, reviewed, and versioned.

• env-checker Ruby gem (Guillermo Guerrero, from AirRefund, Full Stack Developer). Don't forget your environment variables when your app changes the environment. Using this gem (https://github.com/ryanfox1985/env-checker), you can set up required and optional variables. In case of missing variables, you get informed from all those missing environment variables, and stopping the application if some required variable is missing.
