~ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! ~
Due to the intense stormy and rainy weather forecast,
we have decided to move our event to Sunday 24th.
The climate is changing, but we can do actions to stop it.
Get some cosy rest on Saturday & let’s unite stronger and make this happen.
TIME & PLACE stays the same.

Together with the international NGO Oceanic Global & Impact Hub Barcelona - we are starting a series of events called LOVE YOUR OCEAN - to engage and inspire local communities to take better care of our oceans.

*EVENT DETAILS*
This clean-up event is aimed at runners, sportspeople and anyone who wishes to take action to protect our oceans.

It will be an educational "pick & run" event, beginning at the W Hotel - and ending at Playa Nova Icaria.

Educational speeches, healthy snacks, and community unity included!

Supplies will be included for the first 100 attendees - We will provide biodegradable sacks and reusable gloves to the first 100 attendees to collect the litter.

If you are an experienced beach cleaner, please feel free to bring your own supplies! - We also advise taking your own reusable water bottles, sunscreen, warm jackets and snacks - to prepare for any weather!

→ Inspirational speech about Plogging lifestyle.
→ Educational speech about the environmental situation of the Mediterranean Sea and Barcelona’s beaches

10:30am PLOGGING
→ Pick & Run beach clean from W Hotel to Playa Nova Icària The groups will be led by plogger leaders.

11:30am FINISH
→ Trash drop off at Icària meeting point* and weighting of the collected bags.
→Thank you and appreciation to all volunteers!
→ Informative talks about the sustainability aspect of the event, including information about waste management - “Where does the trash go?”

12:00PM HEALTHY SNACK & SPEECHES
→ Healthy snack to be provided by Fitbar Barcelona
→ Guest speakers KEENAT and MOMENTUM CHIROPRACTIC
