Pinterest 101:

No idea where to start with Pinterest? Not even sure what Pinterest is? Should you be using Pinterest? We'll explore all these questions and more (bring yours!) in this talk on understanding Pinterest. Pinterest is not like other social media networks - in fact, it's not a social media network at all, but a powerful visual search engine. We will talk about what is important to know about Pinterest and how that is essential for developing a Pinterest strategy as a content creator. Finally, we will go over some Pinterest basics for getting started, even if you don't have a lot of time to dedicate!

Sam is the co-founder (and co-writer, photographer, social media manager, wearer of many hats) of Alternative Travelers, a website dedicated to sustainable and vegan travel on a budget. Originally from New York, Sam has been based in Madrid, Spain for almost three years. When not in Madrid, she travels throughout Europe and beyond via house sitting.
