Join us to celebrate International Women’s Day with an engaging talk that sheds light on the roots of the gender gap that influences our perception from early childhood.

Let’s break the stereotypes and contribute our grain of sand to end gender inequality.

What: Pink vs. Blue: The relationship between toys & gender gap in technology

The talk will look at the skills and interests developed by play in the current age of binary marketing (blue for boys vs. pink for girls). We will see how this division leads to the low numbers of women in technology and sciences and even the pay gap. To end, we will open up discussion about other root causes for the gender gap in technology and what we can do in our lives to contribute to eradicating it.
