LIFE DRAWING SESSIONS IN SANT LLUC

Life Drawing Sessions in Sant LLuc is a daily event that takes place from Monday to Friday where you get to experience life drawings with fellow artists, students, expats, and locals with the guidance of our valuable artists.

What is Sant LLuc?

Cercle Artistic de Sant LLuc is an antique house of art in the centre of Barcelona where Joan Miro, Antoni Gaudi, Picasso and various famous artists used to spend their time practicing their art. You can even see some of their works around the center if you pay close attention!

In the old theatrical salon of Sant Lluc, where the bar is located, you will be able to catch the atmosphere of the legends of Barcelona.

Sant LLuc opens at 17:00, an hour before the event. If you come early, you will have time to enjoy the yard, look around or grab a drink at the bar.

What should I expect from the session?

The session includes a model who will be performing various poses. The poses will hold for 3-9 minutes each which will allow you to study different anatomical structures and shadows. Our professional artist will be giving you valuable insights and some guidance during the session. There will be a small break to rest our hands and open our mouths to socialize!

Do I have to be good at art?

No, you do not. All levels are welcome!

What do I need to bring?

All you need is a paper, any kind of paper, and your favourite pencils or brushes to draw with. You can also purchase them here if you need!
