This is a group for anyone interested in hiking in Thailand. All skill levels are welcome, but you should be physically active and able to do intermediate to moderately strenuous hikes. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. I would like to plan day trips/overnight trips from Bangkok on the weekends (especially holiday weekends) to explore the beautiful natural areas of Thailand. Anyone with experience or knowledge of Thailand's nature areas and an interest in the outdoors is encouraged to join!

Urban hike: Escape to Thonburi (Railway hike, local livings, Food Sample)
Wutthakat, Khet Thon Buri, Kr, THWe create the urban hiking trail to visit the brand new landmarks in Bangkok, we cross the river to find the less visited, non-touristic destinations. On this trip, we hike along the railway, take a local passage to visit the Giant Buddha, and see the local life along the way, we end our trip at the Talad-Phlu, the Thonburi's Chinatown, to sample some of the famous dishes.

Itinerary
8.50 AM: Meet at Wutthakat BTS Station, at the BTS station exit 3/4 right by the ticket entrance/ exit9.00 AM: Start tracking along the railway route to see a local living, it's purely beautiful and unseen by tourists (1.5km)
10.00 AM: Approach the Talad-Phu Food Market (street vendor), it's known as Chinatown for Thonburi. We visit the Train Station then we take a secret walking route to the temples. The giant buddha is the new landmark that is currently under construction. We are going to pass the BangLuang Yai Canal, and spot the Giant Buddha with the local river view. (1.5km)
- Depend on our timing, we have a chance to feed the fish at the temple
11.00 AM: Visit the Wat Pak Nam's museum.
11.30 AM: Food Sample: We walk to 60 years old Pad-Thai Place, We will introduce you to a few foods that are locally famous for Thai and have food tasting there.
12.30 PM: Walk you back to the Wutthkat BTS Station to finish our loop walk

The Heavenly Cult - Day Hike

Back in 1973, Hub Pha Sawan used to be the biggest Buddhism cult in Thailand, this place was built as a place for heaven that combined multiple religions’ statues on top of the hills. In 1980, this place was forced to shut down by the government. Until these days, it became one of the visiting spots that only a few people know due to how awkward the situation was.After this hike, we are going to visit the Talu Cave, which was discovered by the locals in March 2021. This trip will be a one-day trip from Bangkok to Ratchaburi Province.

Itinerary
*There are no plans to deviate from the plan unless there is an unforeseen situation8.00: Van left from a Gas station near Wutthakat BTS Station. The journey takes around 1.30 hours. We will stop at the Gas station for 15 minutes break
9.30: Arrive at Hub Pha Sawan. We are going to hike and explore the hiking routes and visit the landmarks of this route. To make the whole loop we need to hike 2.5km and around 365 steps, the trail is a combination of ruins, a natural trail,s and man-made hallways.
12.00: Back to the van and parking lot. Transfer to the van and head to our 2nd destination.
14.00: Arrive at the hiking spot. This spot was discovered on March 21 right before Covid. The distance to the peak is around 300 meters up.
15.00: Back to the van. And drive back to Bangkok.
18.00: Back to Bangkok and end the trip.

08:00 AM - Depart from Tesco Lotus Sukhumvit 50 (By BTS Onnut)- Begin your journey towards Pak Chong in a comfortable van.
10:30 AM - Arrive at Thep Phithak Punnaram (Big White Buddha Temple)
- Explore the Big White Buddha situated halfway up a mountain, offering stunning views of Khao Yai.
- Take the 631-step climb to reach the Buddha and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
- For those not up for the climb, relax and enjoy watching the peacocks, chickens, and other animals in the temple grounds.
12:00 PM - Lunch & Depart for Kayaking
- Enjoy a delicious lunch and get ready for the next part of your adventure.
01:00 PM - Arrive at Nam Phud Bann Tha Chang (Emerald Spring Water Pool)
- Discover the Emerald Spring Water Pool, fed by fresh underground water that creates its beautiful emerald color due to calcium carbonate.
- Change into comfortable clothes for kayaking.
01:30 PM - Group Kayaking Experience
- Embark on a 1.5-hour kayaking tour on the Emerald Pool with a local guide. Paddle through the tranquil waters and enjoy the natural beauty of the Pak Chong area.
02:30-03:00 PM - Swimming & Relaxation
- After kayaking, take some time to swim in the pool or relax before changing into dry clothes.
