Join us at Coworkidea on Monday, 27th February to help us solve our first puzzling murder mystery game! (more details coming soon).
In our latest amazing evening session, we'll be getting to grips with some hands-on crime scene science as we take on the role of Crime Scene Investigators in the aftermath of a mysterious crime. We'll be playing games, solving crimes and learning all about forensic techniques, including the science of fingerprints, how to use chromatography to identify the author of a poison-pen letter, why superglue is involved in many crime scenes, and the physics of blood spatter analysis.

Although the content of our events is in English, our attendees are usually from different countries, so our group activities tend to be in English and Spanish. We're all very friendly and always willing to have fun!

¡Únete a nosotros en Coworkidea el martes 27 de febrero, para ayudarnos a resolver nuestro primer juego de crimen y misterio! (Próximamente más detalles).
En esta próxima y sorprendente sesión nocturna, nos meteremos de lleno en la ciencia criminológica. Nos convertiremos en Investigadores en la escena de un misterioso crimen. Jugaremos, resolveremos crímenes y aprenderemos todo sobre las técnicas forenses, incluyendo la ciencia detrás de las huellas digitales, cómo usar la cromatografía para identificar al autor de una carta anónima, por qué el adhesivo instantáneo está relacionado con muchas escenas del crimen y las leyes físicas detrás del análisis de las manchas de sangre.
¡Súmale a todo esto un gran grupo de gente divertida y curiosa y sabrás que será una gran noche!
Recuerda reservar tu lugar para asegurarnos de que estás incluído en la lista. Recuerda también que puedes traer a tus amigos. Luego del evento, iremos todos juntos a por unos tragos.
Aunque el contenido de nuestros eventos está en inglés, las personas que asisten a los mismos suelen ser de países diferentes, por lo que en nuestras actividades grupales se suele hablar en inglés y español. ¡Somos un grupo muy amigable y siempre estamos dispuestos a divertirnos!

Who are we?
We're a friendly bunch of adults who are curious about the weird and wonderful science of the things we see every day. In every session we set a theme, and then explore a couple of different hands-on activities and games together to learn about what?, how? and why? things work the way that they do.
We come from all different educational and professional backgrounds, and you don't need any previous science experience to come along, play, and meet new people.

Somos un grupo amigable de adultos que tienen mucha curiosidad sobre la extraña y maravillosa ciencia detrás de las cosas que vemos a diario. Cada sesión tiene un tema específico y luego realizamos experimentos para explorar y conocer las respuestas a nuestras preguntas a través de actividades y juegos para saber el qué, cómo y por qué las cosas funcionan de la manera en la que lo hacen.
Tenemos diferentes formaciones académicas y profesionales, y no necesitas conocimientos científicos previos para unirte a un evento, jugar y conocer gente nueva.

I'm a board-game loving science geek (and freelance project manager in healthcare communications) from London.
