Wuhan Virus Co-Learning Hackathon

In the news are alot of headlines about the newest coronavirus and the Wuhan virus outbreak. The genome has just appeared on Genbank (https://lnkd.in/gsr5EQc). To help diffuse all the misinformation about this we are hosting this event to learn together.

This event is NOT a lecture but a co-learning hackathon. We would like to improve our own understanding and hopefully contribute to the publics understanding by taking a look at the genome, diving a bit into how viruses work, and how this one is spreading. We hope to create some educational info to share with our community.

This event is free for all ages. As we will be doing research and co-learning together we recommend bringing a laptop.
