The purpose of this group is to join like-minded photographers who enjoy taking pictures of birds and other types of wildlife. This is for beginners - intermediates photographers who want to learn how to take pictures of birds and have the patience needed in bird photography to sit and wait for the birds to show themselves. Bird photography requires a long lens for best shots, so you will need a long lens at least starting at 150mm is best. There are several camera rental places in Atlanta if you want to learn and don't own one. I know several spots to try for best viewing. I will be teaching how to shoot and best practices for taking good photos of birds.
