
De qué se trata
We are a community of individuals in the Ottawa/Gatineau area who are focused on cultivating wakefulness and mindfulness through the practices of meditation and dharma study.
Our group offers regular meditation sessions and instruction as well as periodic retreats, gatherings and special events. Our offerings also include programs, courses and workshops in the Buddhist tradition as well as non-secular courses of study. Many of the courses and programs are designed to stabilize and strengthen our meditation, as well as clarify our understanding of a diverse range of rich, profound teachings of various thought/spiritual masters. Course activities include group discussion and contemplative exercises that allow us to connect to the teachings at an experiential level, and find ways to integrate the path of meditation, wisdom and compassion into our daily lives. Members are encouraged to suggest related offerings that may be of interest to group members.
All are welcome to participate, regardless of spiritual tradition, or the lack thereof, and level of experience with meditation and mindfulness practice. Join us in celebrating this journey of discovery!

Mieux se connaître. Être présent dans notre quotidien. Apercevoir la paix et la tranquillité. Beaucoup d’entre nous y aspirent. La méditation de pleine conscience peut nous y mener. Cette pratique, simple mais transformatrice, est facile à apprendre.
Soignez des nôtres et apprenez la méditation à notre Centre situé au 400 avenue McArthur. Aucune inscription n’est requise.
L’initiation à la méditation est gratuite, toutefois vos dons seront les bienvenus.
Donné en français et anglais par nos enseignants formés, ce cours de méditation élémentaire s'adresse aux débutant-e-s, ainsi qu'à tous ceux et celles qui souhaitent rafraîchir leurs connaissances de la méditation.
Les portes ouvrent à 18 h 30 et seront fermées (et verrouillées) à 18 h 55. Vous êtes donc priés d'arriver à l'avance. Il est possible de se garer dans le stationnement à l'arrière du bâtiment ou à l’avant, ou encore de prendre l'autobus no 14 jusqu'à l’arrêt McArthur et Moorvale/De l'église.

Most of us would appreciate more peace and harmony in our lives. Mindfulness meditation is an excellent way to begin. The simple yet profound practice of meditation is easy to learn.
Taught in French and English by our qualified instructors, this basic meditation class is for beginners, as well as anyone who would like to refresh their understanding of the meditation technique.
Bilingual Learn to Meditate is free, however your donations are welcome.
Doors open at 6:30pm, and close (and lock) at 6:55pm, so please remember to arrive early. There is some parking available in the rear lot, on site, or you can take bus #14 to McArthur and Moorvale/De L’église.
