Aspectos legales del web scraping y crawling

El uso de web scrapers, crawlers y otras herramientas automatizadas para la recopilación online de datos está presente desde los inicios de Internet. Sin embargo, hoy en día los datos han adquirido un enorme valor económico. La ciencia de datos es quizá la gran herramienta para entender y analizar esos datos. Ahora bien, cuando ese contenido se obtiene de redes sociales o la Red en general, ¿qué elementos legales entran en juego?

Por ejemplo, ¿puede el scraper libremente acceder al contenido de servicios como Facebook o Twitter? De hecho, qué ocurre con el que recibe el scraping, ¿puede proteger legalmente su contenido? Y con los datasets, ¿qué hago con ellos una vez creados?

De eso y mucho más hablaremos al analizar las cuestiones legales del scraping y crawling de Internet y sus datos.
