Southwest Metro Card and Board Games Meetup Group

We will be playing board games at a brewery. I will bring some of my own games but feel free to bring anything you would like to play. We normally do a teach before playing any game so don't worry if you're not familiar with any specific game.

This event is at Mana Brewing in Shakopee from 6pm to 10pm(ish).

I will bring name tags (and sharpies).

For those of you who have never attended one of our events, we usually start with some quick(ish) games while we wait for everyone to arrive. Then we split into groups of 3-5 people to play the more time intensive games.
There is zero expectation to know how to play these games before-hand. Anyone bringing games should expect to teach others how to play.
I'll have a selection of games and usually other attendees will bring selections from their collections too. If you have a favorite game you would like to introduce us to please bring it!

Hello Everyone,
For those of you who have never attended one of our events we usually start with some quick card games while we wait for everyone to arrive. Then we split into 2-3 groups of 4-5 people to play the more time intensive games.

I have a tub of games with a mix of modern board games. Usually other members will bring their collections as well. If you have a favorite game you would like to introduce us to feel free to bring it along.

This event is at Mugshots Coffee Company in West Bloomington on France Ave just north of the intersection with Old Shakopee Road.

Along with their skillfully crafted beverages Mugshots offers an assortment cold sandwiches.

Meetup to play board games. We tend towards the nerdier ones (think more Terraforming Mars than Monopoly), but we sometimes play lighter games as well. We usually have the tables near the entrance. You should be able to find us by looking for the stack of games. We'll go over the rules for any games we play, so don't worry about not knowing them. Feel free to bring any you'd like to play.
