Loading images progressively [Jose Perez] and Open Space

It's performance meetup time again! We will continue to focus on images. Last time we saw that images affect page loading performance and how to use the picture element to provide the most suitable image depending on browser.

Jose Perez will talk about some different techniques used in well known websites to load images with a performance mindset. He will explain different ways to do lazy loading of images and transitions from placeholders to the final image. Besides, he will explain what has worked and what hasn't applying them to Spotify's website.
