Upward Trails Christian Hiking

Do you like to hike and bike? Come join Upward Trails, a Christian wilderness organization that has been leading trips for 40 years. Most of our trips are in the NW Oregon and SW Washington areas with occasional trips farther out. We have hikes almost every week year round as well as biking, backpacking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and the occasional caving or canoe trip. The guides are Christians from different churches and denominations who love Jesus but ALL are welcome to join us.  We look forward to your joining our community of believers who love to be in the outdoors and fellowship with others. We’re a social group who like to take time to enjoy the scenery, get to know each other, and take pictures along the way. No one gets left behind. Singles, married folks, and kids are welcome. On most hike trips, dogs are welcome on leashes. Look below to see what hikes you may want to go on with us. Please be aware that some trails require protective clothing from ticks & poison oak. Dress in layers for the weather and wear good hiking boots. Bring lunch and water. Keep in mind some trips may be cancelled or changed due to lingering snow, or no snow, excessive rain, forest fire, etc. A donation to the driver is recommended if you’re car-pooling. Each car will need $2 toll each way for Washington hikes.
