Connecticut Active Singles is a 35+ year old, non-profit organization that brings together singles (30s-70s) for hiking in Connecticut on two Sunday mornings a month.

GPS: 283 Park Dr, Berlin. Take 691 E, get off at Exit 3, Chamberlain Hwy. Go left end of ramp. Go 1.3 mile, turn left on Butler. Next left on Park Dr. Meet .3 mile on left.
NO KIDS - NO DOGS - NO SNEAKERS, Wear hiking boots. Buffet Lunch after each hike. Hike starts at 8:30AM sharp, please arrive at 8:00AM. Hike will last approximately 2 hour. Singles Only 30s-70s. For those of you new to Active Singles, please check-in with Charlie upon arrival (baseball cap and bright colored shirt).
We hike at four different group levels:
Social: 3 to 4 miles
Moderate-Intermediate: 4 to 5 miles
Advanced: 5 to 6 miles

From the hike, go back up Park Drive and turn right on Butler. Follow onto Chamberlain Hwy. Go 1.5 miles and just past Meriden Mall on left, turn left at sign for 691 West. Get off at the Route 10 exit and turn right at end of ramp. At 2nd light turn left onto 322. Meet half mile on the left in a small plaza.

This is a full service Chinese buffet restaurant. The price of the meal with soda, coffee, tea Tax & tips is $14 a person (Cash only). See me after meal for payment.

GPS: 480 Watertown Rd., Thomaston (The park is over the line in Watertown, but GPS says Thomaston). Route 8 north off Exit 38. Turn left at end of exit. Bear right at first traffic light. Turn left onto Route 6 West. Meet .4 mile on the right. If South on 8: Go straight onto Route 6. Meet .4 mile on the right.
