Bushcraft Family Weekend (in English) – Outdoor Experience near Lisbon

A weekend in nature for families who want to step outside the routine and experience something real together.
This is not a demonstration or a tour. It’s a hands-on experience where both parents and children take part — learning how to light a fire safely, build a simple shelter, cook over the fire and explore the outdoors with confidence.
Designed for international families living in Portugal, the course is conducted entirely in English and requires no previous experience.
Over the weekend, you will:
– Learn to make fire safely using simple tools
– Build a basic shelter as a family
– Cook your own meal over the fire
– Spend time outdoors in a structured but relaxed environment
The focus is not survival, but comfort and confidence in nature — giving families practical skills and a shared experience that stays with them.
Children from 6 years old are welcome.
Location: Sesimbra Natura Park (approx. 40 min from Lisbon)
