Along the coast and over the hill for lunch at Stanmer Park
Detalles
30mile, mainly flat, ride with only one hill. The route goes out along the coast from Shoreham to Rottingdean with café stop at Molly's. After coffee we return to Ovingdean then head inland. The road has a steep, relatively short section, which flattens to a long, steady climb up to Woodingdean on a smooth track. We descend to Falmer then onto Stanmer Park for lunch. After lunch we return to Shoreham via Brighton taking the sea front road.
NOTE: cyclists are required to dismount and push bikes for a short distance at the Ovingdean cafe on the undercliff path.
Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy and you have sufficient equipment to make at least puncture repairs. All participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and getting home if bike cannot be repaired roadside. The first aid provisions are no different from if you were riding on your own or informally with friends.
