What is less talked about is how this journey changes the founder and the different “names” that a founder takes on along the way. Mark Birch, Global Startup Advocate at AWS, shares his own personal story of the ups and downs of his former startup, what “names” he took on, and useful resources startups can rely upon along every stage of startup growth and scale.

In this session I will explain how, using AWS Lambda and Python, we can book front row seats for stand-ups and theater shows in Israel.
Prior familiarity with AWS and Python is recommended but not required.

13:30-14:00 - Tomer Levi - How Sedric is building scalable serverless platform using AppSync, EventBridge and API Gateway

In this talk Tomer will share an architecture walkthrough to solve that problem. You'll learn how multiple Lambda functions
can construct a service and serve the same business logic, expose Rest API through API Gateway, GraphQL through AppSync and combine SQS and EventBridge for event sourcing.

Ran will share on his take on AWS CDK best practices, gathered from almost three years of development with CDK.

15:30 - 16:00 - Noam Dahan - Access Undenied

Access Undenied on AWS is an open-source tool that analyzes AWS CloudTrail AccessDenied events – it scans the environment to identify and explain the reasons for which access was denied.
In the talk, we will discuss the tool, present it in a live demo, and talk about the ways it can be deployed to help organizations.

14:00 -16:30 - Workshop with Efi Merdler-Kravitz - Building a Serverless Content Management System with AWS
level: 300
In this workshop, students will build a content management system using serverless tools. Users will be able to join different content groups and group managers will be able to send updates and manage the group through a simple API. The workshop will utilize various AWS services including DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS, S3, and Lambda.
The workshop will also cover how to build the services using Infrastructure as Code with AWS SAM.
Please bring your laptop with Python 3.7+ and AWS SAM installed on it.
