Act Normal - Comedy Special Filmed For The Tube
Detalles
As wildly appreciated at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Act Normal is the first ever full-length show of Jakob Kerkhove, an infamous comedian from Belgium, primarily known for doing very complex and weird comedy sets on stage.
## About the show
During the show, we'll go on a quest to find The Normal Person in the world, so we could all learn from them, because wouldn't it be great to simply live in a world where everyone was just... normal?
What does it take to be normal? And is it worth it?
This tragicomedy mixes stand-up comedy, storytelling, drama, and obviously a healthy portion of ranting into a microphone.
## This show will be filmed 🎥
At this show we will attempt to tape for "the tube" and get a good version out there. Please behave and enjoy the show!
## Trigger warning
The show may contain dark humor and touch on sensitive topics such as neurodiversity, trauma and mental health. While the show is in no way meant to be offensive to anyone, please be aware that those topics will be discussed.
## Reviews from Edinburgh
> "Stumbled into this show with my partner because of a flyer that was given to us. We didn't know what to expect but were positively surprised! The show was very comedic, however Jakob pulled on the heart strings as well talking about his own personal experience in life which made it a very powerful show. It was a great mix between jokes and tragedy, which could resonate with a wide crowd that is willing to listen. Amazing show, can highly recommend!"
> "Wandered into this show mostly by accident as my other plans fell through. If you enjoy comedy but are finding the sheer number number of stand up comics at ed fringe a little repetitive, come and see this! Genre bending, half comedy, half storytelling. You can’t fit this show into a box, which I really like..."
