Everything that happens, happens somewhere. Where's a book shop near? There's any ATM in the area? Which route I have to take to arrive to my destination? The geographic information is a part of our lives, every day and constantly. We take most of our decisions thanks to this information. This is important in a personal, business and governmental level to be able to take decisions.
OpenStreetMap is a collaborative project that provides free geographical data that can be useful for other projects involving Open Data. In this presentation we are going to introduce you OSM. What is OSM and how you can collaborate on the project, and the relationship between OSM and Open Data. Be able to use an open geographical database promotes start-ups and helps other companies that needs this information as a support or an essential resource for their goal.
