Ceremonia por Gaza / Ceremony for Gaza

Este es, quizá, el evento que menos ganas tenemos de hacer… pero también uno de los más necesarios.

Porque llevamos años siendo testigos de cómo un genocidio puede transmitirse en streaming, en 4K, directo al sofá de nuestras casas. Y no podemos mirar hacia otro lado.

Desde la Sociedad Psicodélica de Barcelona queremos alzar nuestra voz y la de nuestra comunidad para decir alto y claro:

No a la guerra.
No a la muerte.
No al genocidio.
No al colonialismo.
No al apartheid.
No al terrorismo.

Gaza es hoy la herida abierta de la humanidad en pleno siglo XXI, y esa herida no deja de sangrar. Queremos honrar a sus víctimas y recordar, de forma simbólica pero poderosa, que no están solos ante esta deriva inhumana.

Por eso nos reuniremos en ceremonia por Zoom el domingo 31 a las 18:00. Uniremos silencio, palabra y a la comunidad para invocar paz y amor, para sostener con nuestra presencia ese dolor que cada día nos golpea un poco más fuerte.

Porque cuando la humanidad va a la deriva, nos corresponde marcar un rumbo: hacia la paz, hacia la sanación colectiva, hacia la unidad frente a quienes intentan dividirnos.

Se hablará tanto en español y catalán como inglés por lo que todas las personas de nuestra comunidad son bienvenidas.

La asistencia es gratuita.

Habrá una donación voluntaria de 7€, que irá destinada íntegramente a una familia gazatí. (Se podrá aportar por Meetup, PayPal o Bizum).

This is perhaps the event we feel the least like holding… and yet, it may be one of the most necessary.

Because for years we have witnessed how a genocide can be livestreamed in 4K, straight into the comfort of our living rooms. And we cannot look away.

From the Barcelona Psychedelic Society we want to raise our voices, and those of our community, to say loud and clear:

No to war.
No to death.
No to genocide.
No to colonialism.
No to apartheid.
No to terrorism.

Gaza today is the open wound of humanity in the 21st century, and that wound keeps bleeding. We want to honor its victims and remind them, symbolically yet powerfully, that they are not alone in the face of this inhuman drift.

That is why we will gather in ceremony on Sunday the 31st at 18:00 (CET) on Zoom. Together we will hold silence, words, and community to invoke peace and love, and to stand present with a pain that strikes us harder with each passing day.

Because when humanity is adrift, it is our duty to chart a course: towards peace, towards collective healing, towards unity in the face of those who seek to divide us.

The ceremony will be held in Spanish, Catalan, and English, so all members of our community are welcome.

Attendance is free.

There will be a voluntary donation of 7€, which will go directly to support a family in Gaza. (Contributions via Meetup, PayPal, or Bizum).
