26th Meetup - The Hiring Process Dilemma: Restrict or Embrace GenAI?

After more than a year of inactivity, we were truly overwhelmed by the amazing response from this community to our last event on May 13th. Thank you. It gave us the energy and motivation to keep things going!🫶

Remember our 2025 goal? Yes. 4 meetups to learn, share, and reconnect. So here comes the second event of the year! And let’s be honest: can we really have two events in a row without mentioning AI?

This time, we’ll dive into the impact of GenAI on the hiring process. Large Language Models (LLMs) are forcing hiring managers to adapt the interview process. Some companies are embracing it, and assuming, or even encouraging candidates its use during interviews. Others are putting in a lot of checks/secure approaches to ensure AI tools are not used. Is the use of GenAI cheating… or just adapting? We’ll debate the pros and cons of both approaches.
