How managers fit in Scrum? An overview of Agile Leadership

After facilitating the first Professional Agile Leadership course in Barcelona, I would like to share some of its biggest learnings.

Scrum does not talk about managers and leaders. It's all about the Scrum Teams and the Product Owner / Development Team & Scrum Master, so... do we really need managers?

The myth that managers are not needed any longer with Agile is harmful, misleading Agile practitioners and intimidating managers.

In this session we will describe what the situational Agile Leadership role can be and we will introduce a powerful tool, the Agile Maturity matrix, to play a game together.
